Mary Bloomstran
Biography
Mary Bloomstran has held a Real Estate Broker's License for over 33 years. Her career began in her native Texas where she sold and managed commercial real estate in Houston for a number of years. She then achieved a Texas Appraiser's license and worked for Texas Valuation service where she specialized in challenging appraisals such as air rights, mineral rights, farm and ranch, commercial and historic residential. Mary came to St. Louis to dispose of the Texas portfolio of non-performing assets for Community Federal Savings and Loan. Upon completion of that task, she was recruited by Showhomes of America to open an office in Westport Connecticut and launch the Eastern United States expansion. This included the states of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachutsets, and Rhode Island. Showhomes East, under Mary's management, showed a profit in the first nine months of operation and due to it's success was acquired by Home Equity Corporation. Preferring to return to St. Louis, Mary joined the Real Estate Owned department of Boatman's Bank (later Bank of America), managing a national R.E.O. portfolio for a number of years and developing the first educational class for R.E.O professionals. Raising two young children made the extensive travel challenging. During their upbringing Mary held her own broker's license and managed her personal real estate investments in Missouri and Florida. She is thrilled to be a part of BHHS Select Properties, and loves working for a woman-owned company! Mary is proud to be a multi-lingual Cuban-American and is proud to have acheived the Certified International Property Specialist designation.

Testimonials
“Mary and I began this journey as a client and a agent and will continue this journey as a trusted friend. As a relocation client coming to an area of unfamiliarity and having 2 kids transitioning schools, is lifechanging. You have so many worries and the knot in the pit of your stomach, asking yourself 'Did I make the right decision'. Mary was able to distinguish all of those worries. She knew the school systems, the areas, the restaurants, the culture. She made the house hunting trips exciting and when in a specific area she helped us explore what the community had to offer, highlighting the strengths and how far the commute would be to interests that we had. Mary was able to win our trust and our friendship. We value our relationship with her as a not a business associate but as a trusted friend. I am so fortunate that the universe blessed me and my family with Mary and her team. I cant imagine my relocation any other way. Me and my family were separated for 4 months as I began my new position and they stayed back until we had a home to relocate to. Mary would check in on me, we had meals together, she would fill me in on different community events. She created a feeling of home for me.”
