- The Wall Street Journal examined what buzzwords are being used most frequently in listings to sell homes. It's an interesting read that can tell us a lot about Americans' tastes and can also be used to help figure out how to make your listing stand out. 

- With foreclosures drying up, a lot of investors are looking for vacant lots to build rental properties.

- Builder confidence in the 55+ housing market continues to rise.

St. Louis links

- Ever wonder about this history of the painted ads that cover so many of the brick buildings in St. Louis? St. Louis author William Stage examines that subject in his latest book, "Fading Ads of St. Louis." This could make an awesome Christmas gift.  

- This weekend could be a dream come true for a couple Star Wars fanatics. A Disney casting director is in town auditioning for the lead roles in "Star Wars: Episode Seven." She's looking for a 17- to 18-year-old girl and a 19- to 23-year-old man.

- The popular Potbelly Sandwich Shop is set to open up the doors of its new Clayton location Tuesday.

- STLToday.com has a pretty cool St. Louis-themed game up called "Neighborhoods: The Game." The goal is to list as many of St. Louis' 80 or so neighborhoods as you can in three minutes. What's your score?
